is a pretty ambitious racing game. Instead of your basic lap racing with unbelievably fast cars, this game takes on a more serious aspect with real-life driving physics, road handling and believable speeds in a grand attempt to immerse the player into a simulated driving world. And the developers were highly successful in doing so.
First you need to choose a car. The developers put a pretty impressive line-up of cars into the game ranging from the Porsche 911 to a Lamborghini Diablo. There are eight cars in all and each one handles differently, simulating their real life physics. After you choose your car, you're ready to race. Unlike most games, you can really only race against your arch-rival or do time trials. Along with your rival, you'll also have to watch out for motorists cruising along the various highways and scenic routes you drive through. For the most part, AI motorists abide by the speed laws and it is up to you to watch out for them while driving along, racing your rival. And because you're racing on realistically modeled roads, there are patrol cars out to give you a ticket. Fortunately, your car is equipped with a radar that alerts you when a police car is near by, so it's up to you to slow down and avoid getting ticketed. If the cops pull you over, you'll get a ticket and after a few, you'll be disqualified from the race.
As mentioned earlier, this is not your typical racing game. In The Need For Speed, you'll have to race on one of three different tracks, each realistically designed. There's the city course in which you cruise down a highway and up through the city; the alpine course which has you going through snowy and mountainous conditions and the coastal course on which you drive by oceanic scenery. While having only three different courses to race on sounds limiting, it's not. Each course is broken up into three different sections, or waypoints. Also, the courses themselves are all fairly long with an average length of 12 real miles. That is pretty impressive, as are the course designs. They're extremely realistic looking and are beautifully detailed with hills, scenic landscapes, speed limit and other road signs, etc. When you're in the first person, in-the-car view (there's two other external views you can choose), you feel like you're really driving.
While they're extremely fun to instigate, the only thing that isn't too realistic are the crashes. When you hit cars dead on, you flip high into the air instead of really crashing. Your car does not receive damage and neither do other cars. Sure, you can flip them on their sides and push them around, but it's not very realistic.
Still, The Need For Speed is a superb simulation/racing game that any fan of the genre should now be without. Everything from the outstanding controls and realistic physics to beautifully modeled courses screams excellence.
Graphics
Everything looks realistic in the visuals department. The courses are littered with life like scenery, beautiful texturing and landscapes, road signs and deer standing by the road. The driving engine is also very smooth and the framerate is decent.
Sound
All the cars have realistic sounding motor hums and tire squeals. Other than that, there's not really much to talk about in this category other than a few rocking tunes that are pretty standard and unoriginal.
Enjoyment
The Need For Speed is just a blast to play because it actually simulates real driving. The courses are beautifully designed and are very challenging and you never really get bored of playing them. Also, causing accidents is a fun little thing to do as you can watch them in an instant replay. You also get to outrace cops who are out to pull you over and give you a ticket, which adds to the adrenaline factor. I didn't, on the other hand, find watching repetitive video clips of the rival either insulting you or congratulating you over and over again enjoyable. Fortunately, you can turn this feature off so that it doesn't bug you.

Like I said, the game never feels boring and the car selection is decent enough to have you coming back for a very long time.

The Registry feature acts in the same fashion, letting you check off on the options you'd like to scan for issues. In less than 30 seconds, the program had scanned and displayed a long list of invalid entries that we could then opt to fix or leave alone by UN checking the boxes. In less time than it took to scan, the program fixed the issues we had selected. One note: We did have to run the Registry cleaner three times in a row before it came back with no issues found; each time it came back with fewer and fewer invalid entries. Using the Tools feature, we were able to manage our start up programs and successfully UN install programs. We especially liked that C Cleaner lets you manage your cookies so that you don't delete ones that are useful when browsing the Web. As with all Registry cleaners, we recommend that you proceed with caution before fixing or deleting any files. C Cleaner does offer an on line help feature, but for basic cleaning, you probably won't need it.

Set a single website as your home page
If you like to keep things simple, here’s how to set your home page in three easy steps.
Open the website you want to set as your home page. If you want a blank home page, open a new tab.
Click the icon to the left of the web address, drag it to the Home button, and release.
Click Yes to set this as your home page.
Try it out: Click the Home button and your new home page will load in the current tab. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
Set more than one website as your home page
This is the way to have one-click access to all of your favourite websites. For example, you can set the Firefox home button to open your email, favourite news site, and Facebook all at once.
Open a new window and load the first web site you want in your home page.
Click the new tab button and open the next web site you want in your home page. Repeat this step until you've opened all desired sites in new tabs.
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options
Select the General panel.
Click Use Current Pages.
Click OK to close the Options window
Try it out: Close all of your tabs and then click the Home button. Watch all of your chosen pages open up in tabs. Do it again! You know you want to.
Restore the default home page
If you want to delete your home page customizations, this is the way to do it.
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options
Select the General panel.
In the Start-up box, click Restore to Default.
Click OK to close the Options window
Set what pages open when Firefox starts
This is a great feature you can use in addition to the home page settings. To save time, you can have Firefox open the pages you were visiting the last time you used it so you can continue where you left off.
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options
Select the General panel.
In the Start up box, click the drop down menu next to "When Firefox starts:" and select what Firefox should display when it starts up.
Show my home page - Displays the home page(s).
Show a blank page - Displays a blank page. This loads quickly since you don't have to wait for lots of tabs to load.
Show my windows and tabs from last time - Opens the pages you were visiting the last time you used Firefox so you can continue where you left off. For more information, see Restore previous session - Configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs and windows.
Click OK to close the Options window .
Try it out: If you really want to get fancy, you can set a group of web sites as your home page and set Firefox to open the pages you were visiting the last time you used it. That way, you can pick up your work where you left off and have one-click access to your favourite sites.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a tactical first-person shooter for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and the first installment of the Sniper series. It was released on June 24, 2010 for Microsoft Windows via Steam with the Xbox 360 version released on June 29, 2010 and the PlayStation 3 version on April 28, 2011.
The game is based around the role of the military sniper, which the developer has noted that the public interest of which has increased thanks in large parts to shows on channels like the History Channel or the Military Channel. The game's objective is to insert players into the role of an elite sniper team sent into a hostile area in an attempt to help the rebels of Isla Trueno, a fictitious Latin American country, fight against the force who has toppled their government in a coup d'état.
A sequel, titled Sniper: Ghost Warrior was announced to be in development and is expected to be released in August but Eurogamer revealed the game was pushed back to October.
Sniper Ghost Warrior is set on the fictitious South American island of Isla Trueno, where a despotic military regime lead by the ruthless General Vasquez has overthrown its democratic government to seize control. As one of a group of covert commandos, the player is charged with infiltrating the rebel stronghold and overthrowing the unelected powerbase. Intelligence reports indicate that Vasquez is due to chair a meeting with his cohorts in an old refinery facility, and a government plant is in place to set up an assassination opportunity for the crack unit. But as the unit arrive on the island, it soon becomes clear that the plan has gone awry, and the team must adapt and use their combat skills if they are to complete the mission.
Realism is at the heart of Sniper Ghost Warrior, and the game enjoys a truly realistic ballistic system that accounts for the distance of a shot, fall-off of the bullet’s trajectory, and environmental factors, such as wind direction. Similarly, the lush jungle environments, allow the user to use the cover of the foliage to take out key targets, while other members of your squad can act as ‘spotters’ to detail the positions of key adversaries. Players must also manage the breathing of their sniper to provide a more accurate shot, while the game’s ‘Bullet Cam’ system offers stunning close-ups as the bullets thud into their unsuspecting targets.
The mission spans 16 stages, starting with the problematic assassination attempt at the refinery, and moving on to oilrigs, a mine, the coast, and a set of ruins as the game’s plot continually surprises. Each level is brought to vivid life with the many rustles of the jungle keeping the player in a constant state of alert, and the sniper elements mixed with incredible firefights, as the enemy break cover and the squad is forced to engage in open combat.
Sniper Ghost Warrior represents a clever take on the military simulation genre, and also allows users to hone their sniper skills in a series of unique multi-player modes, wherein up to 16 players can compete simultaneously.
